Iedere week praten wij je bij over de ontwikkelingen in de American Hockey League (AHL). De AHL speelweek begon deze week al vroeg. Op dinsdag 31 oktober werd het eerste duel al gespeeld. Daniel Sprong speelde in deze week twee duels met zijn Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Punten voor Sprong
De eerste wedstrijd was tegen Lehigh Valley Phantoms. De Baby Pens wonnen met 6-5 na shootouts. Daniel had een assist, maar miste de tweede shootout. In de wedstrijd zelf had hij vier shots on goal. In zijn tweede wedstrijd van het weekend tegen Hershey Bears scoorde Daniel een goal en had wederom vier shots on goal, maar werd er wel met 3-2 verloren na shootouts. Wilkes Barre/Scranton Penguins gaat nog wel aan de leiding in de Atlantic Division. De oplettende lezer ziet dat zij minder punten hebben, maar in de AHL wordt de stand opgemaakt op basis van het winstpercentage.
